The Thursday Post for October 1

We have loads of activities to look forward to in the month of October. Coach Clements is promoting the annual International Walk to School Day.  Join in the added daily fitness of an invigorating walk to school.Register now. Mrs. Diane Briggs our beloved Media Specialist and her able bodied assistant Mrs. Barbara Kindregan have been preparing for a spectacular "Around the World" Scholastic Book Fair which coincides with the Grandparents Lunch Day, October 2, and runs through October 8, so please make sure the grandparents know they may be going shopping. Webb Bridge Middle School is hosting their first ever day of Shredding! Now's your chance to eliminate unwanted CDs, tapes and more for a small fee, half of which will benefit WBMS on October 3, 12-4PM. The NED show will be here and will do a character education assembly for grades 3,4 and 5 at 8:00 and grades K,1 and 2 at 9:00 on October 23rd.  They have done this show at several local elementary schools and I have heard rave reviews!   If you want to know more, you can visit www.theNEDshow.com. BoxTops for Education flyers went home today with an incentive to clip boxtops. The Reflections deadline is approaching so please complete the applications and turn in the projects before October 8.
