Dear Parents,
We all have heard the news about the mandatory budget cuts being made to Creek View Elementary. There is no better time than NOW to get involved and help make a difference. Many public schools in our local area have formed foundations. These are not-for-profit organizations that allow the school to raise much needed capital funds that go beyond the scope of PTA and can be sustained over years. What are some of those expenditures that would benefit Creek View? Consider the following ideas:
- Financial support and growth of our arts programs
- Continued financial support and expansion of our technology resources
- Financial support for staff development
- Financial support for outdoor enhancements
Creek View Elementary is in the preliminary stages of researching this idea. We are looking for more ideas, and of course helping hands.
