2011 "Young Lungs at Work" Comic Strip Art Competition

Entries are due by April 15th!

On Saturday, April 16, your student and your family have the chance to attend FAME (Fulton Arts & Music Expo).  Throughout the day, awarding-winning musicians will provide clinics on various instruments and elements of the music business.  A “Super Panel” of music professionals will discuss careers in the music industry.  In addition, you and your family can hear jazz, rap, a fiddle team, orchestral music and rock and roll by a combination of student and professional bands.  The day will end with a concert by the renowned Rialto Jazztet and rock-and-roll band the Dirt Poets. Tickets for the noon to 6p festival, including the clinics, are only $5.  The event will be held at Riverwood International Charter School, 5900 Raider Drive in Sandy Springs. Enrollment Announcement News Release

Please read the following news release regarding our drop and enrollment and the impact this has had on our school administrative staff. In short, Mimosa Elementary is gaining one of our valued Assistant Principals, Sabrina Payne-Bland, and Manning Oaks will be sharing our equally treasured, Caren Allen, Counselor.
